INDIANAPOLIS -- Hours after controversial labor
legislation passed its final hurdle in the
Senate, Gov. Mitch Daniels signed the
right-to-work bill into law Wednesday. Wednesday,
February 1, 2012.
Laws that curtail union clout have faced heated
opposition in Wisconsin and Ohio, making passage
of 'right to work' laws in other industrial
states a difficult political proposition.
